MCR is the best, but we do too like other band. One of it be Linkin Park. They are great guys and make good music. They also are about to release their new live CD/DVD “Road To Revolution: Live At Milton Keynes” on November 25th, 2008.

The DVD covers their awesome performance at Milton Keynes as a part of their Projekt Revolution festival.

Just like we have posted in the bulletin, the MCR Book was well received by Bob. Here’s the story from Patty of MCRmy Peru =)

YES! I gave the book to Bob I met him in the hotel. I struggled so much to give it to him. Waited 10 hours at the airport and then they kicked me out. I went to the hotel were they also kicked me out and threatened me that they were not going to let me inside the concert if I didn’t leaave. But I stayed in the hotel’s restaurant and Bob was in the bar so I got near him and gave it to him!!!

Here’s the long story if anyone’s interested:
I waited 10 hours at the airport (to give them the book) and I had only slept 2 hours in the airplane so I wasn’t feeling very well, anyways they kicked me out of the airport because they said it looked kinda like dangerous they thought we had bombs or something. When I went outside of the airport approx. 10 girls were waiting and when I came out they though I was one of them and they started to scream and I was like WTF.

Anyways I went to My Chem’s hotel because I knew the MCRmy Chile was gonna be there and I had to see them at 4p.m. because I had to give them the present from the MCRmy Peru. Well so I took a taxi and the driver thought we were gonna be staying in their hotel so he took us inside, and there were approx. 150-200 people waiting outside the hotel, it was freaking crazy. But I didn’t wanna get inside the hotel I wanted to be outside with the fans to give the MCRmy Chile the present but it was too late the employees were already carrying our luggage because we had just come from the airport!!! so we improvised and pretended we were gonna stay . Well to make it shorter there were other fans inside, a girl was staying at the hotel just to meet them, I mean she was staying in a room! it was crazy and the room was like 180 bucks a night. So i became friends with all of the people there and well the security came they asked us to leave but since I was eating at the hotel’s restaurant they told us we could stay there but the rest of the fans had to leave because they threatened us, they said that if we didn’t leave we were not going to get in the concert. And we all complained because we weren’t doing anything so they promised that if we left they would give us Meet and Greet passes so we left our names and telephone numbers but they never called (fucking bastards). Okay well, then while we were there we saw Bob! He was on the elevator and all of a sudden he was in the bar and the bar was near where I was(I was at the restaurant) but I was scared to go near him because the hotel’s manager had already talked to me and told me the band didn’t want the fans there, he said I couldn’t get near them, couldn’t talk to them nor ask for an autograph or pictures . But then I saw a girl asking for an autograph and I was like "fuck it" and I went there and said Hi Bob, he was like Hi and the I told him about the book that it had messages from their fans and stuff like that and he said: Wow and he smiled, he showed it to his friend and touched it and opened it so I asked him if he was interested in what the fans thought and stuff like that and he said he definitely did. And because there were so many people waiting outside I also asked him if that bothered them but he said that didn’t bother him, what bothered him was the fact that at the airport, people were pulling his hair. (BTW. at the airport a girl threw himself to Gerard and he fell to the floor, they also scratched him) I also told him I came from Peru just to see them and I think he didn’t know where Peru was and I told him it was another country and his friend said: Dude that’s far away. And he was like ooooooh! Well then I took a picture with him and he was super nice and simple and extremly sweet. He’s just like you see him in pictures, I was like wow am I really standing in front of Bob or is this a picture. Oh and he was with the same pants he was wearing when they performed at the Jonathan Ross show and it looked kinda funny. But he’s adorable, a very sweet guy.

edit: Oh and in the end when Bob let other people near him we were like 5 people and I was the only one who could speak English so I got time to actually say something without people interrupting me, I was pretty lucky. But I also felt kinda bad about getting in the hotel and doing that. But I had to.

A MESSAGE FROM MIKEY WAY ABOUT THE NEW YORK SHOW

We are pleased to announce a show at NYC’s one and only, Madison Square Garden. I know that its not a special small club show like the others on the tour coming up through the US. MSG holds a special place in our hearts. About 12 years back, my big brother took me to see The Smashing Pumpkins at that very venue. I turned to him and said "this is what I want to be…this is what we have to do…one day we are going to be on that stage." He felt and thought the exact same thing. Lo and behold..here we are announcing the show of all of our dreams. We wanted to share this special night with all of our hometown area fans. This is a great goodbye to "the Black Parade" tour and the beginning of the next chapter in MCR. Not only that, but we get to share it with our best friends in the world, Taking Back Sunday and Drive By. We can only hope that one or a few of you will feel the same thing at the show and a decade later, be on that stage.

– Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 9th with very special guests Taking Back Sunday and Drive By (*time/date subject to change*).   

In January 2008, Hai magazine – one of the biggest music magazine in Indonesia – released their Hai Star edition on My Chemical Romance to welcome their arrival in the country, so to speak. The magazine consists of the band’s history, profile of each members, guitar chords, etc.

It’s not within our daily activities to blantly talkback or protest a well-known media just because one or two mislead informations about the band, but this particular issue really brought our attention. Not putting photo credit for a starter, then the inconsistent stories they poured until up to the point where… well, let’s just say we’d really love to poke them with a very VERY sharp object =)

Other than the above mentioned reasons, we put more of our concerns to the people who don’t know shits about MCR beforehand and those who prolly would rely this magazine as their source of info about the band.

Our dearest friends in Peru is having a project to make My Chemical Romance book which you all can participate!

Hello fellow MCRfans!

As you all may know My chem’s coming to South America!!!! finally.. and we are a group of peruvian fans and unfortunately, they are not coming to Peru

Therefore, we are going to Chile on February 24th So i decided to make this MCR book, that would have messages from their fans. Because one day I realized, how many things I wanted to say to these guys, how many times I wanted to say thank you! to them, and I wondered if other people felt the same. That’s why, I came up with this idea.

To start an MCRbook This consists in:

1-Fans write like a message/letter to the guys.
You can either post it on myspace (www.myspace.com/mychemicalromancebook) or write to: mcrbook@hotmail.com (We expect many messages! and you can write as much as you want, 10 pages or 1 line) Or if you want to ask them a question you can send them all, because we’re gonna have a section where they can find all the questions fans have, if there are too many, we might only choose some.

2-The “MCRbook” group will then make the book, we’ll try to do our best.

3-We’ll take pictures of the book so that you can all see how it looks like.

4-We’ll try to give the book to MCR when we go to Chile.
This will be our biggest challenge!! To do all of this we need your help, we need you all to post your messages as soon as possible and tell other people about this.

I am doing this book, for 2 main reasons:

1- I want the fans to have the opportunity to at least tell them how their music makes them feel, to say whatever they wanna say to them.(of course something appropriate)

2-For the guys, I’m sure they would love to receive something like this. Maybe we will not be able to give them the book (I want to stay positive, but it’s still a possibility) but I’m sure that if we’re not able to give it to them, there will be another chance to do this.

Hey guys, the organizer for Jakarta show, Java Musikindo, told us that they are willing to give us a favour on forwarding gifts to MCR. So to those who want to send them gifts, you can send them through us with terms as below.

• Gift items must be under these conditions.
1. No fragile items, e.g. made of glass
2. Preferably small size, easy to carry
3. No sharp objects.

Conditions were made for convenience to all parties; us, Java Musikindo and MCR. Thank you for your understanding.

• Attached a tag or a card on your gifts which include:
1. Your name.
2. To whom (optional)
If you have different items to be given to each member, we suggest that you write to whom the respected gift was meant for.

• Letters
If you guys would like to give them a letter too, kindly put it in a sealed envelope with your name on it.

• Fan art
For fan art, please submit them to MCRmy Indonesia as a part of their project. You guys can see the details here.

Please email us first if you want to send the gifts and we will get back to you with the postal address.
